This story follows the progression of a person with little control over their life to one who can reconcile themselves with accepting the existence of their Higher Self outside the constraints of traditional religions, allowing the main character to become their own hero/savior.

That struggle includes not only dealing with paranormal events but the current common fears of estrangement from the tribe, mental health prejudices, isolation, and social anxiety.

Many stories deal with the need to be “special,” apart from and above the social group. Today’s culture uses social media to attain that brief recognition, but what if it could be permanent?

Readers can help shape the story by suggesting new directions for character growth, revealing their fears and struggles, and listing what paranormal things scare them.

Other stories have an outside hero save the main character. In my account, the heroine saves herself.
