Synopsis

Vancherion Dust is a young man who disappeared into the cybercities of Aka Chikyu, running from his mad father. He takes the fastest and most dangerous job on the planet: Shokin Hunter. Bounty hunting is a fast, profitable way to make money and escape the dense, city planet. One night, he meets several other bounty hunters on a job: Hera Constantine, Hyperion Zenith, Martial Marn, Bastion Axle, Zu Jirosanki, Proctor Nur and Chimie. The job goes sideways but creates an opportunity for them to work together again. As a new team, they hunt down bounties and do jobs given to them by Prime Agents. Their lives become a mix of drinking, partying and violence in the rainy cybercities of Aka Chikyu.

Ked Yeager Sedax is an orphan from a poor farm in the Kossi System. A military squad called The Queen’s Marshall’s gives him the opportunity to fight in the current Kossian Civil War. The young farm boy accepts the offer because one of the Marshalls claims to know where his parents are. Ked Yeager Sedax embarks on a journey to find out who he is, while facing the traitorous Renegade Army.

Imre Black lives on Zidaria, the richest planet in the galaxy. He is a Year 13 student of a prestigious, private school. Each day is a fight for survival in his jungle of a school. However, after a beating, Imre gains the attention of his crush, the perfect girl, Sarika Canning as well as her group of friends. Imre’s new friends strain his relationship with his best friend and changes Imre’s school life indefinitely.

With the galaxy opening up for these beings, their action will define who they are and their fate will be inexplicably linked forever.

The Meaning of Vancherion

This book is the accumulation of three years of notes, daydreams and nightmares. Multiple films, books and TV shows were also an inspiration. If you like media such as: Akira, Blade Runner, Dune, Star Wars, Scythe, Jujutsu Kaizen, Titanfall and anything science fiction related, you’ll like Vancherion. It is very much an opening to a series of books and a journey in which these characters will live. Fun fact: I wrote the second book before the first because I had no idea what to write for the first one. However, it allowed me to further build the world, galaxy and universe that the characters exist in. I hope you enjoy the first book and I can’t wait to write more, with new characters and crazy new stuff.
