Upload is a near-future science fiction novel set in the neon and chrome streets of New York City. Detective Jonathan Qin is a clone, attempting to solve his own murder. Those who can afford it upload their memories into databases, ready to be placed into the minds of their cloned bodies in the event of their untimely death. Jonathan has to act quickly as a vast web of conspiracy unfolds.

Upload questions the balance between privacy and safety, the cost of immortality, and what it means to be human.
