Having grown up on an unhealthy diet of comedy shows and books, I am now a fully grown adult who can’t help but view life through a lens of cynicism and sarcasm. My jokes are inappropriately timed and I have a penchant for finding the perfect moment’s to offer unwanted insight and opinion.

Blackadder, Red Dwarf, The Office, South Park and a lifetimes-worth of other comedy have littered my life and inspired me to write my début novel: Victoria’s Line.

History may be written by the victor, but the truth always out’s. London Underground is more than just a smelly, dysfunctional service that causes misery and mire to millions of Londoner’s each day. It is the home of the true British history. Victoria’s Line is the first in a series of Underground Histories that takes a look into the ’true’ accounts of the late, great Queen Victoria.

Delve into 19th century London. Dive in and take a swim in the cesspool known as the Thames, graft in a local factory and spend some time with Raj, the local Indian boy who tamed the tigress.
