Hello, I am Christopher Brown, Chris for short. I am attempting to become a published author, keeping my head in there and hoping for something great to happen.

The idea for this story came to me in the oddest of ways. A long while back I was watching the local news, where they decided to do a section on how a restaurant (I think it was Applebee’s) were adding these touch screens, where you can order food and the like. I don’t remember much of it now, but I remembered not exactly being a happy camper about it. Essentially this is where the idea of "A future where people forgot how to talk" came from. The idea came back to me whilst I was attending college. It was after a course in Theories of Society, and I remember thinking that social interaction on the whole has been devalued due to widespread availability. I won’t get too into it, because it’d just be me rambling, but the idea came back to me during those days. Admittedly I first imagined this as a film of some sort, but that idea was quickly shot down by my friends after they heard the idea and went "that’s so pretentious." Anywho, I hope you all really enjoy the story. The stories are less for me and more for everyone and I’d like to share it with you.

-Thank you

Chris
