My name is David Joseph Brown. Music is my career, writing is my hobby. I’m a twenty six year old drummer living in Philadelphia. I enjoy sci-fi, fantasy, horror, nerdy things, and everything dark and obscure. {37}

Currently: watching Dr Who season 5, reading The Cipher by Kathe Koja, playing Destiny, listening to Between the Buried and Me, eating ’like a rabbit’.

I plan on adding material as I write. This is the second draft as I was unhappy with the original vibe. Enjoy and hope to chat with you soon! :]

Tumulynth is a mysterious journey into a mythical realm that lies hidden beneath a secluded mountain village. Main character Vikar retreats from society after the deaths of his wife and young son. After a dark period of internal struggling and haunting dreams, Vikar is shown a path that could result in the resurrection of his family.

I brainstormed the idea after a particularly vivid dream I had one night about a maze full off odd, dangerous, and fascinating things. The flow or progression of the dream felt as if each chamber of the maze held a test or challenge or obstacle that once bested, would allow access to the next chamber and overall apply to the solving of the maze. In Tumulynth, I want to tell a cryptic story about death, adventure, madness, love, and survival.
