In the grand scheme of things, we are spectacles of dust, existing and ceasing to exist, through a brief time-space...
Although, our neuronal make-up makes us believe that the world revolves around us, just how our ancestors thought the sun revolves around the earth, there is an 'innately flawed sense of the self' that we get attached to, in this cognitive dance...
We live our lives with that attachment; we boast ourselves with pride in relation to that attachment; we define ourselves based on that attachment, only to, reunite with cosmic spectacles of dust, one day... And when that moment arrives, we leave everything behind, within a blink of an eye...
But who are we, really?
Are we the life of this self-centered party?
Are we our insecurities? Are we the selfishness that overlooks the well being of others? Are we our expectations of happiness and comfort? Are we our material worth? Are we the measure of success in society's eye?
Are we a society modeled after mechanistic worldviews - A live or die regimen that teaches us to behave in a peculiar way in which our natural ways of being are encouraged to be suppressed?
Are we the tangible aspects of life that we cling on to so dearly, or are we those untouchable, unseeable forces that could only be perceived from the heart and with a mind's eye?
Who then would we become if our facades are ripped off? Are we capable of being our authentic selves, channeling the very nature of who we would become when our bodies are decayed and that sense of self, ceases to exist?
What would it be like if we 'transcend otherness', while we are still alive?
What would it do to us as individuals? How would it transform society? And most importantly, what does it take to drive in to our days consciously, with tools of love, compassion and acceptance with every heart beat?
