You’ve likely heard some of the greatest Bible stories ever told, but strap in for The Worst Bible Stories Never (or at least rarely) Told.

This book is a compilation of some of the worst stories you will find in the Bible, along with many scriptures that can be concerning, alarming, gross, and downright confusing.

This book is great for the faithful to use to prepare for and study common arguments and scriptures used by skeptics and unbelievers.

The purpose of this book isn’t to slander or denounce the Bible, but it is intended to provoke thought and make the reader consider what it entails to really read, understand, and choose to accept the Bible. This book is meant to draw attention to the very worst aspects of the Bible (as the very best aspects of the bible already receive many times more consideration) in order to encourage healthy skepticism when approaching the scriptures.

This book is great for skeptics to use to debate, personally provoke thought, and to have as novelty.

So far, I have included a sample of the entire book of Genesis’ worst stories and scary scriptures with the exception of the most popular Bible stories. I plan to include these in a companion book called "The Devil’s Advocate’s Book of Bible Stories" that explores the darker sides and left out parts of everyone’s favorite and most well known Bible stories with thought provoking questions and examinations of common answers to those questions.

All scripture quoted is from the KJV of the Bible since it is the most widely used. The NET, NIV, and YLT, as well as consideration of context and meaning of original Hebrew and Greek words, were used in research.

Bible Web App is an amazingly useful tool for scripture study.

If this book does well, I plan on commissioning an artist to illustrate choice stories for added effect. Please, feel free to express your interest (or disinterest) in this aspect of the book.
