Hi! My name is Daniel, and I’m an artist and animator. Three years ago, I somehow found myself walking with a very attractive girl through downtown Boston. In a desperate attempt to continue the conversation I asked her what her favorite dinosaur was. Stegosaurus. It turned out our favorite dinosaurs weren’t the only thing we had in common.

Two years ago, after one year of dating, I created a hand-drawn book in one of my sketchpads for her. It was about two awkward stegosauruses who manage to overcome their stunted perceptions of themselves. She loved it.

That book was the beginnings of what you see now. The Two Stegosauruses has now been totally translated from it’s paper and pencil origins to an actual book!

I hope that this book will help other awkward stegosauruses out there.
