This book is just one window into a world that I have been pondering for the better part of my life. The earliest stages of the world first came to being when I was in middle school in the form of an incredibly informal TTRPG I played with friends at lunch. For the past 15+ years, I have been refining it and fleshing it out. I’ve thought of a few ways to present it to the public - this book is a way in which the readers can experience the world by following along with the journey of a man who wakes up in the world without any memories. His personal story, what significance he has to the world as a whole, and the dark history of how the world came to be will all be revealed in time.

While I have loved writing for much of my life, all writing I’ve ever done has been purely informal, stream-of-consciousness, and purely for the fun of putting words on a page. I rarely took my audience - if there even was one - into account. So, with this book, I would gladly welcome any tips on my writing style to help keep readers engaged and keep me from rambling with text, which I often do. And while the world is developed, as is the protagonist’s unknown history to a large extent, his present-day journey is very much a work in progress, so feel free to comment on what you would like to see from him. But I certainly don’t want to reveal too much too soon.

Last but not least, this book is just one of my many labors of love, and finding time to work on it has been rough. To give you an idea, I wrote the first chapter in mid 2013, and only just now revisited it. So any public interest would serve as good motivation to prioritize this project.
