About the world
Vesceria was once a land of peace and prosperity where the gods walked the earth freely and magic was used for the benefit of the realm. This was a time of wonder when marvelous creations of magic and grand temples to the gods were constructed. During this time races of the world put aside their difference and thrived together. It was during this time that the Order of the Qivar, masters of both sword and arcane, was founded to defend the people against any force of evil. Consisting of members of every race, they were blessed with prolonged life and extraordinary magical talent. This blessing was then passed down through the generations, ensuring the realm would always be protected.
Now that’s all changed with the kingdoms of the world constantly fighting in some manner. The gods have not been seen, nor their influence felt for hundreds of years; many now believe they were just a myth. Magic is now rarely used for anything other than self interest and destruction. Evil creeps back into the land more each day making the once peaceful land a dangerous one.
About The Spark Internal
This story is not a tale of one character, but a tale of how a group of warriors each lost in their own way must find themselves and become who they are meant to be. Full of magic, monster and fantasy creatures both iconic and new. This story will be told from two points of view in unison to capture both sides of the tale. The first will be following the Qivar as they struggle internally on how to handle a world growing darker each day while their own numbers dwindle. The second covers the union of eight warriors each plague with their own weaknesses and self-doubts. Together they will battle threats both physical and within.

My name is Jacob Browning and this is the first book I’ve attempted to release. I’m a big fantasy and Sci-Fi nerd and currently in school for game design and programming. I’ve dreamed of writing a book since I was in middle school and I’m super excited (though extremely nervous) to finally pursue that goal.
