This story came about after I read James Herbert’s rats novel when I was a teenager. It must’ve stuck in my brain for years because in the mid-90s I was writing my first horror story that included killer rats. It took another 25-years before I finished it though. Not because I am the slowest writer ever, hahaha, but because back then I was doing other things. I wrote 2 more novels before going back to finish this one.
