Some Days Less Human is a book of poetry written during a time in my life when I was compelled to return to the first form of writing I had ever done. Poetry is more than a few lines on a page. I believe, it is the truest expression of a writer’s spirit. We are allowed to admit the darkness, to confront the demons, and to rejoice in our failures and our victories in ways other styles do not allow.

My poetry is free verse. It is raw, it is turbulent... it is my truth.
