Currently have the book at 11783 words, life caused me to fall behind an ideal pace, but I’m happy with how its progressing.

NaNoWriMo has begun! I’m really happy with how this Prologue chapter came together, sorry it got cut off though.

I would like to thank you guys for taking an interest in this project, and to let you know that Reaper’s Assistant is planned to be the focus of my NaNoWriMo 2016 project. Meaning you should get the first rough draft of the first chapter in a few weeks. Can’t wait to start bringing this adventure to life. I’ve already begun mapping out the characters, the world, and the journey and am excited to get started.

I’m not sure, I’ve never had the pleasure to read said novel.  Title wise what came to mind was Vampire’s Apprentice.   Not necessarily in narrative approach though. 

I’m wondering. I mean, I like the idea and I wish I had come up with it. But you’re saying it will follow an apprentice. Should I be thinking along the lines of the Ranger’s Apprentice?
