While writing this gritty and humorous crime noir, I drew influence from The Rockford Files, The Florida Project, and Joe Lansdale.

There’s something about a single guy with too much time on his hands, trying to right wrongs DIY style that excites me. So, I wrote about it.

The book is full of quirky characters, murder, and someone keeps shitting in the bushes outside the The Neon Owl. That there’s the first order of business.
