At the end of the pilot episode of Beverly Hills, 90210, after a harrowing set of fish out of water adventures Brenda asks Brandon if he thinks they’re going to make it here. He replies, "Well, the houses are bigger, the weather is warmer, and the tan lines are out standing. But it doesn’t mean they’ve cracked the meaning of life. You know what I mean?"

Over the course of 10 seasons and 292 episodes, Beverly Hills, 90210 tried to crack the meaning of life. They handled every conceivable social issue and, if you were paying close enough attention, gave you some truly bizarre insights into the world.

Initially intended as one book, covering 20-25 of these issues and explaining the life’s lessons presented in each subject, one subject per chapter, it’s starting to seem like a project best split into multiple Volumes. There’s just too much ridiculous nonsense to poke fun at.

So, this is Vol. 1. It will contain a few chapters of varying lengths digging deeply into the lessons we were all being taught while we ate our MegaBurgers.

Thanks for following along. And thanks for pre-ordering this book. It’s going to be fun.
