Dear Ms. Carlson, As your newest "backer" (effective 5:15 PM PST on Wednesday, January 7), I look forward to following progress on "The Man Within"! Are you a member of the International Churchill Centre? Are you aware that for several years there has been a small-but-enthusiastic chapter of the Centre (Churchillians-by-the-Bay) that meets once or twice per year in the Monterey area? Might you be interested in joining this group some day, or perhaps in starting a San Francisco-based chapter? Coincidentally, the Churchillians-by-the-Bay will be meeting in the SF Presidio next Saturday, January 17, for a lunch-and-speaker meeting. Would you like to attend?
