Synopsis
For centuries, mankind has struggled to find the meaning of its existence. Unfortunately for us, we aren’t the only ones that have a problem with our existence.
Humanity has been under review by an intergalactic council tasked with deeming sentient life “worthy”. And with the current state of the Earth, things are about to go from bad to worse.
After voting to “remove” the Earth for the betterment of the galaxy, the planet only has one shot at escaping total annihilation.
And he’s a 40-year-old customer service representative from Illinois who lives alone with his cat.
About
Inspired by the works of Douglas Adams, “The Human Race” is a comedic romp through space and time. Starring an eclectic group of aliens a la “Guardians of the Galaxy”, this story shuns the current superhero trend and puts the everyday man front and center.

About the Author
Alex Labat is an award winning former television broadcast news anchor, producer and reporter turned Twitch Partner (twitch.tv/Labat). A lifelong Louisiana resident, Labat worked for KATC TV 3, the ABC affiliate in Lafayette, Louisiana for a number of years. Starting in the production department and working his way up to anchoring the weekend broadcasts, Labat transitioned from the traditional broadcast medium to streaming on Twitch in 2020. In 2022, Labat was invited to the Twitch Partner program. He streams a variety of different video games, but mainly focuses on roleplaying in Grand Theft Auto V as Mr. Delicious in the NoPixel roleplay server.
