The physics race of the century has become a fight to the finish. Never before in the history of science has there been such a competition - two former associates in a race to produce what was once thought unthinkable - the creation of a time machine. Yes, it would only work on the particle level at first - but even the impact of that breakthrough is beyond the minds of most. But somewhere along the way, as the end of the race drew near, it became clear that winning it would not be enough. No, the loser would wield tremendous ability to deny the winner the credit, and in doing so, shed the last vestiges of credibility for himself. Thus the race became a war, one that will leave the loser, this time, totally destroyed.

Based in part on the upcoming documentary, The Dawning of the Age of Time Machines. By Marshall Barnes, R&D, Eng, the author of Paradox Lost: The True Geometries of Time Travel and Space Warps and Time Tunnels: The Infamous Legacy of One Stephen W. Hawking.
