There are few things more dear to me than frontier sci-fi, so when you add compelling characters and an interesting story, I'm hooked. The Good Deed creates a world for the reader to immerse themselves in, and Woodgate's writing leads the way. I look forward to reading more.

Woodgate gives us a well thought out bucolic setting, centered around a family trying to eek out a living on a distant planet. Only to set the whole damn thing on its head with space pirates, kidnappings, and a pack of ravenous hell hounds. Read this now!
