About The Book

Sundered by an ancient cataclysm and drenched in chaotic magic, the turbulent Twin Kingdoms have devolved into war. Ideologies fight for dominance and entire races struggle to survive. Unbeknownst to all but a few, a greater darkness lingers on the horizon.

Caera Morwen has never wanted anything more than to help people. Uprooted by war and gifted with magic she doesn’t understand, she finds herself running from kings and gods.

Exiled from his court, dark elven Prince Arkreth desperately tries to stop a war that will turn his people into little more than pawns of a cruel king. Isolated in an unfamiliar kingdom, he must find a way to convince the High Priestess of the Magi to surrender.

The fate of the Twin Kingdoms rests in the hands of a scattered few individuals. Unless they can put their differences behind them, there may be nothing left for their armies to fight over.

Why I Am Writing This Book

I have always loved fantasy, be it books, T.V. series, video games. You name it, if it has magic and an epic quest or two, I’m in. Extra points for dragons. What keeps me hooked, however, is the characters.

My aim with The Glass Tree is to take the imagination and freedom of the genre, create a diverse and interesting cast and let them shine. The book is about a war, but it’s so much more about the characters that find their lives upturned because of it.

All feedback is welcome!

Constructive criticism is valuable! I want to know what is and isn’t working, what you do and don’t like. If The Glass Tree sounds like something you might be interested in, please read the sample chapters and let me know what you think.
