A few months ago, I wrote a backstory for a D&D character for my friends to ignore, expecting it to just be a short little explanation as to how he became a chaotic good druid. It ended up being eight and a half thousand words, which a quick Google says technically makes it a novelette instead of a short story. So the logical next step is to commit college-studying time to write a book instead.

I’ve never written something of this magnitude before, so any and all criticism is welcome.
