This story lends itself to a strong emphasis on the gray areas of morality in a savage world. The characters have varied and complex story arcs that see them travel the road from innocence, to corruption, and finally reclamation. A great read.

It is mind changing, what you are thinking while putting words into play. Also, when you wrote Bardolf cannot stop thinking about Julissa and his ...... should that not be her.....?

I think this story and author has a ton of potential.  While some sections are structurally flawed (and aren't we all?) there is a ton of great imagery and hints to a much wider story that I am looking forward to reading as it is produced.

It almost feels like there's a fairy tale quality to the narrative voice!

Such a clever take on a fantasy with a fairytale twist. A very engaging read.

This has such a wonderful premise that opens this fantastical world to the reader.

The beginning of this story just leaves the reader hooked and wanting more. The fact that these men were going to commit a crime in order to try to 'save' a child made them look almost as if they were the monsters, and that the family inside were truly innocent, despite the rumors that were going around. It truly leaves the reader on the edge of their seat as they're reading, waiting to see what happens next.

This is a story with really interesting dynamics between the three parties names in the title, I can't wait to find out what happens next in this story. It is a parable, a fairy tale and potentially more from where it's heading.
