The Earth Shaper:

Many millennia ago the Lords of Light and Darkness created the world out of nothing. They created and established four primary Lords, one for each of the elements. The Lords of Light and Darkness ruled over everything equally but the Lord of Darkness sought to remove his brother from power and rule over everything himself.

This lead to an Elemental War with the Primary Lords either abstaining or choosing sides. The war raged for hundreds of years, with generations of mortal men dying in the process. In the final moments of the war, The Lord of Earth became overwhelmed by the forces of Darkness and was killed. The Lord of Light also lost his life when he imprisoned the Lord of Darkness in another Realm, not able to bring himself to killing his own brother.

A thousand years after the War, word comes to the Lord of Air that a man is telling of the return of the Lord of Darkness and that a cult dedicated to his service is attempting to open up a door to the realm where he now dwells. The man also foretells of a being, born with the spirit of The Lord of Earth. The Lord of Air sends out an envoy in the hopes of tracking down this man and preventing the return of Darkness to the world.

The Story:

The Earth Shaper focuses mainly on the supposed reborn Lord of Earth and the envoy from The Lord of Air. It is about their quest to discover if he does indeed have any powers and whether he can master them or not in time to prevent the cult from opening the door. They find help from many likely and unlikely places along the way. It is the first in a series of books which I have planned out so, should the book prove successful, there will be other stories to follow.

About the Author:

My name is Nick and this is my first full length novel. It is partially completed at the moment but I am hoping to be able to finish it in the next few months or so. I will be uploading the first chapter in the next week or so once I am happy enough with it for the time being.
