Hello, readers! My name is Giselle, and here I present my new story, "The Dragon Princess of the Lost Flame". I am so excited for many of you to read it! As you’d know form my bio, I am a Twelve-Year-Old Girl in 6th grade, and ready to write! I was inspired to write this story, because I was watching a video on YouTube about dragons, fairytales, and princesses, and it relit an old spark in me from my youth, well, younger youth. I remember I used to love fairytales so much, and I idolized princesses and always wanted to be one (even though I knew it wasn’t possible because I wasn’t in any bloodline of royalty), yet I always loved the idea. So that’s how I was inspired to create my character, Selena. An adventurous, curious, and fun spirited little princess in the kingdom of Akello. She was always so interested in alchemy, one day she decided to create an unnamed potion from an old spellbook, just to see what it would do. Little did she know that if this potion was mixed with the blood of a living creature, it would transform her into it! And she just so happened have a run in with a dragon, mixing it’s blood with her potion when she fell from a tower of rocks. If she does not succeed to reverse the spell within a week, the spell will be permanent. Along her way of trying to find out how to reverse it, she meets a young elven girl named Adeline, who sees her less than beast but as a companion. With the help of the elven girl, an anthropomorphic wolf named Mesilla, and a cute prince with access to the dragon realm, Selena must find a way to undo this transformation for good!
