The contest ends tomorrow Dec. 14th so I’d like to ask those following the book to please pre-order a copy.  Just a few will put it into the top 10 and will make a big difference in the book getting a fair shake in the contest. The book won’t meet the 300 threshold so you’ll get your money back but it will help put it into a position to be taken more seriously by the judges.  Thanks everyone and have a great holiday season.

I have updated the ABOUT section and there are now three excerpts in the READ section.  Taken together, I think these will give you a good idea of what the book is like.  

I hope readers will support this book.  I grew up in a small coal mining town and the setting is about as authentic as it can be.   The characters are engaging and flawed and must rise to meet a challenge like no other.
