It will be free starting tomorrow and running through the 4th of October, after that it will be $0.99 for the ebook and as of right now I do not have a price set for the printed copies. Howdy there! I apologize for it being such a long time since my last update! Quite a few changes happening!!
For one, my Inkshares campaign is ending VERY soon and it will not make its goal... No worries though, The Dare is not dead! In fact it will be getting released through another avenue. I am not sure if I can say it through here, but if you go on my Instagram or FB page, you’ll know where it’s going to be released! I am very excited for these changes and I have a renewed energy to get this book out for reading! You should receive a refund for the pre-order once the time has come for the campaign to end. If you do not see it, please contact me or Inkshares support. They said to allow 1 business day for the refund to process.
"Miacarterauthoroffiction" is my instagram account name and search Mia Carter on Facebook for that page. (Though I am more active via Instagram.) I am working on a website as well, not sure when it will be up and running so for now I will update through IG/FB and emails. My email is mia.carter.author@gmail.com. Let me know if you would like to still receive email updates and I will add you to the mailing list. I will not use your email for anything other than updates regarding my books, the website or any events that may arise!

I know it’s been a while since my last update. Lots going on, have some big decisions to make coming up here, lots of changes planned. Anyway, to be honest, I am not sure how The Dare will do on Inkshares. I am not going to give up on getting it to publishing though. I’m not quitting on this book by any means, it’s just going to be a process! I am currently working on a new book, little different than The Dare, but just as much fun to be writing it! I’ve created my own creature and it has been a blast figuring out this diabolical new villain!!! I’ve been putting sneak peaks of it on my Instagram page. :) I am also putting ideas onto paper for a sequel to The Dare. Since I don’t know what ending I will use for The Dare (there are two), the sequel for now is just scribble on a page. (But that’s how it all starts right?!) Figured I may as well keep on with my writing while I see where The Dare will end up! I can’t help it, I love to write!
I just wanted to touch base with everyone and say hi, hope you all are doing well! I am beyond thankful and grateful for your support and your pre-orders, it means so much to me! I will keep the updates going as I can. I hope you all have a wonderful day!
Hi all! Happy Father’s day to all the fathers out there and happy Sunday! Just a quick update... I added a new chapter today: Chapter 4 - The Return. It will probably be the last chapter added here on Inkshares. I think there’s plenty on here for reading now and I don’t want to add too much. Please keep sharing the link with anyone you think might be interested in The Dare. There’s still some time on the campaign for pre-orders, but the clock is ticking. My Instagram page does share little pieces of other chapters not listed here for reading, check them out if you get the chance! :) As always, I value any feedback and thank you for supporting The Dare!

I want to take a moment and say thank you again to you guys! The Dare is gaining support and it is truly amazing to watch it grow. I am working hard to get The Dare out there on social media each day. Please feel free to share the link with anyone who might like a fun, thriller/suspense ride out of reality for a while! It really is just a book meant to be enjoyed, nothing world changing... just some good suspense, action, car chases, fights... and a teeny bit of romance... if you have any questions or input, I am happy to hear from you! Really trying to get the word out there for The Dare. I was planning on taking an excerpt from the chapter called The Nightmare and putting on the Mia Carter FB and intstagram page.
