My name is Sean. It is a great pleasure to have you reading this. The Cult of the Dome is a science fiction work in progress. I hope to have some sample chapters up soon.

Synopsis

"In a world left desolate by war, the last remaining vestiges of humanity survive in underground societies. Scavengers scour the ruins of once great cities in search of scrap to be repurposed or sold off in exchange for sustenance. Packs of raiders, untethered from the rules of society, prowl the surface in search of easy prey. It is a dying world gasping its few final breaths. The death rattle denies all hope except for a few foolish enough to still believe in the promise of land untouched by the devastation that blighted the surface centuries ago. Some speak of a glistening dome that rises above the wasteland. Within its sloped walls might lie the paradise that will save a doomed world and its inhabitants."

About the Author

I have been writing science fiction and fantasy since I was a young boy. However, beyond getting published in a few college journals, I never seriously considered writing as a career. A dream, surely. A goal, absolutely. But I never thought I would take my passion to the professional level. As such, this is my first real foray into writing a novel for publishing and general consumption. Anyway, I currently live in southern California and work as a psychiatric registered nurse. In my free time, I am usually reading, writing, catching the newest horror movie, or hitting up a karaoke bar. I hope you enjoy my work and I am open to any feedback that you may have. I don’t write for money or fame. I write to share my passion with you all and to perchance share in whatever emotion my works invoke within you. Thank you for your time.
