My name is Justi Manter and this book has been a long time coming.

The idea for writing a story about an Empathic P.I. named Rella Chase first came to me ten years ago, but it wasn’t until recently that the story became fully realized.

The Chrysalis Connection is a modern fantasy set in New York City with elements of Welsh Myth and Folklore. It touches on the dark side of corporate greed, and science used for nefarious purposes.

Rella grapples with what it means to be alone in a crowded city, and the consequences of trading in that solitude for a group of people who bring as much danger into her life as they do love and understanding.

I hope you enjoy the first chapter. If there is interest I would be happy to post a few more excerpts, as I am very nearly finished writing the entire story.
