The Brokers was born from a conversation with a lawyer friend. After a few minutes of discussing the merits of a particular case, a random question popped into my mind: "Would a deal with the Devil be so bad if you had a good lawyer?" No clue why I thought that, but it just germinated in the back of my brain from that point. The idea expanded a bit beyond the Devil, incorporating other mythologies and deities, and the Brokers became a sort of negotiating team that kept, or at least attempted to, all groups honest in supernatural affairs.

The story revolves around Emily Parker, the newest Broker in the organization. On her day off, she happens to come across an item that everyone desires. Of course, something that every god and devil in existence wants has the potential for severe consequences. Now, it is up to her and her team to ensure that the best deal is made for the good of all involved.

While this story is a stand alone, complete novel, it has the potential to be more; possibly even a series of books within this universe. Obviously, this depends on reader interest and input. What do people like/dislike in the story? Which characters did they gravitate to? Which did they utterly despise? What questions do people still have after reading this book? These are just some questions that would be asked and, hopefully, answered throughout the writing process and after to continue this story.

I hope you enjoy what has been so far provided and decide to take a chance and order this work. I welcome any questions, criticisms, and input that you might have and would love to discuss them further.

If nothing else, Enjoy.
