I just wanted to put out an update to let you all know that this is not just a concept. I have been hard at work turning an idea into a full-fledged work in progress. My pre-draft work has been difficult, as I have never written a story using this sort of process. However, my guide is almost complete! I have a basic arc and details to each point, all of my primary characters are getting their character descriptions finalized, and my worlds are being settled into their places in the universe. I have also completed my plot chart placing all of my characters where they need to be for every important event in my story. I have selected several blocks of my outline to flesh out for your reading pleasure and will be uploading them in the near future!
I wish I could upload scans of my plot chart or even my excel spreadsheets to show the work that has gone into this so far. Just keep in mind that brand new alien races, magic systems, and languages take time to create! Check back soon to start critiquing my draft pieces! I love feedback.
