Who am I? That’s a question I often ask myself, actually. My name is obviously Dustin Rojas. I was born in the long distant year of 1985. I grew up reading anything and everything, starting with a ketchup bottle when I was eighteen months old. By three, I penned my first short story. These days, I’m a Starving Writer.

The novel I’m working on is inspired by an observation: we as a people are spending more and more time plugged into our screens. Television. Phone. Computer. Tablet. Video Game. We don’t talk anymore. We text. We don’t hang out, we FaceTime and Snap Chat. And it’s also inspired by my own isolation from the rest of the world and the loneliness I deal with day to day.

What I want from you is to know where I am strong and where I am week. As I start rewriting, I will be adding and subtracting details. Just let me know what works for you as a reader and what doesn’t.
