In the year 2050, a professional woman with a passion for video games, and recent love of D&D, gets fired. At a cross-roads in life, she responds to a job posting as a Beta Tester for a ’New Immersive Gaming Experience’ with good pay. Landing the job with no previous experience as a gaming quality control specialist seemed like a stroke of luck - finally! Until she enters the game to find no checkpoints, no rules and no re-spawns. This is an RPG the likes of which she has never encountered before. Her Campaign is to enter and not leave until she is victorious. Too bad They have other plans.

As soon as I heard about this competition, a premise immediately came to mind and I felt I have to submit it and see what happens. Regardless of the outcome, I am still going to complete this story and have the greatest time writing it.
I thought I would share a quick bit about myself. I am - at the heart of it - a nerd. That being said, I have always been interested in Dungeons & Dragons and RPGs in general. Recently I began campaigning in Pathfinder and am loving every minute of it. These things and past experiences in my life made the idea behind Tested, come to fruition.
