Jaye Milius's latest update for Terminus

Nov 21, 2016

Greetings, y’all!

Earlier this year, you helped Terminus reach the 250 preorder goal and secure publication! The manuscript has been turned in, initial feedback is good, and now we settle into editorial limbo and wait for the 2017 release date. Or so I thought…

As we’re all reflecting on the wild and wacky year that we’ve had, Inkshares looked to the feedback of staff, authors, and industry professionals to nominate standout projects for The List 2016. These are all projects that didn’t make it to the full funding goal of 750 preorders and this year-end contest gives us one more chance to get all the bells and whistles that come with full publishing. This includes a developmental edit instead of just a copy edit, marketing support, and availability - not just online - but on Barnes & Noble shelves!

Best of all, Terminus is one of the nominees!!!

So what does this mean? The three projects with the most new readers by December 31st will be bumped from “light publishing” to “full publishing” status. Terminus is currently in 6th place. Rankings are based on unique readers, so if you’ve already preordered your copy, you’re good. If you’ve been putting it off… well, now’s the time for me to bust out the puppy-dog eyes.

Whatever happens with the contest, Terminus will still be published in 2017. This is just another chance to swing for the fences, go for the gold, and get this weird little book o’ death onto bookstore shelves.

So invite your friends to the party! We’ve got sex, we’ve got drugs, we’ve got rock and roll! And lots and lots of dead people. Sounds fun, right?

Thanks again for the support, y’all! Hope you have a great week!
