What if the world was a lot bigger than you thought it was?

That’s the situation Alix Sinclair finds herself in. Alix has spent her whole life in Firebird, a safe place created after a plague decimated the earth’s population. As far as Alix knows, all that remains of humanity is safely within colonies like hers.

Then Alix meets Lee, an outsider, and her world gets complicated real fast. When the duo gets sent off on one hell of a supply run, Alix discovers that there’s a lot more out there than she ever dreamed - and some of it just might save her.

Tank-Born is a vaguely sci-fi novel with a twentysomething female lead - something that I, as an avid reader, see a lot of space for. There’s nothing extraordinary about Alix, and she’s not going to save the world or anything. She does, however, manage to save herself, her partner, and the community she ultimately calls home.

In theory, Tank-Born is the first of two novels about Alix Sinclair and Lee Storm. The second, which I will hopefully begin writing once TB is published, will be a sequel of sorts from Lee’s perspective. He’s just as important as Alix, and he’s got his own journey to go through alongside her.

I’ve been writing since I was a little bug and started a lot of projects that linger unfinished on my laptop, but Tank-Born is the current phase of what I lovingly call "Operation Get Shit Together". It’s currently about halfway finished, with a goal of being done by midway through 2017. After that, I hope to get some attention for it here and launch my publishing campaign by the end of 2017.

Thanks for reading my little ramble-fail here, and please feel free to message me or leave comments or whatev. Feedback is greatly appreciated!!
