Like Flowers in Full Bloom
Prologue:
’I don’t believe in Angels... Only fairy tales...’
Or so I kept telling myself. Standing there, I never felt so alone and yet everyone was there, standing right beside me.
’How selfish.’ I sniggered to myself.
They had sacrificed just as much as I. They have died one by one to protect me, to protect the world they loved. I am no one special.
’I am no God.’ I thought to myself worryingly.
’And I am certainly no god damn second best.’
’...But this is MY fairy tale, and I sure as fuck don’t believe in Angels.’
Let me tell all you a fable of the beauty’s and their beasts. Underneath the moonlight, where they hold their midnight feasts. Of dances and the chances, of lives now long lost. Let us cry a fairy tale of preservation at any cost. Swaying through the trees, through the water, through the air. A threnody of cycles, let the lyrics take you there. And underneath it all, those burning roots of raw desire. They all bloomed so beautiful, from the seeds that take them higher. And though we must be blind, as we moved towards Dystopia. Come, and sit a while, to hear The Tales of Euphoria.
