My name is Amy Baker (pen name Erin Kelly) and from a very young age I have been a storyteller. Writing stories since I was in second grade, I started writing fan-fiction before I even knew what it was, dabbling in stories I grew up loving from Super Mario Brothers to Sailor Moon to Harry Potter and so much more. From there my own unique stories evolved, leading me to work on this story, one of many labors of love, my first novel of what I hope will be a successful series, Tainted Moonlight.
Tainted Moonlight is a supernatural fantasy story with a little bit of something for everyone, with a touch of science fiction, horror, humor, action/adventure, and of course, a bit of romance. Meet Korban Diego, a werewolf and survivor to an unusual outbreak that occurred in his hometown of Syracuse, New York and across America five years ago- changing the modern world as we know it. What was once the stuff of horror movies has come to life, and with it has come a series of rules and regulations to keep those who are infected in check. Even though he is one of the few who are out of quarantine, Korban doesn’t feel so lucky as he faces discrimination and stigma from his lycanthrophy, which he cannot hide due to his eyes remaining gold like his wolf’s. All he wants to do is try to have some semblance of a normal life again. However, unbeknownst to Korban his luck is about to change- for the worst.
An encounter at their usual hang out leaves Korban crushing on a wealthy, married woman, someone completely unattainable- until she is attacked by a werewolf and left for dead. Korban is left to help the woman he loves overcome her beast before the one behind her attack finishes her off, if only he can accept his own inner monster first...
