This is a promising start to a wonderful story, filled with mystery and suspense. Frayne explains little in the beginning, leaving the world to the imagination of the reader which mirrors the experience of the protagonist to great effect. Swordchild Rises is a great addition to Inkshares and the publishing world in general.
