Unfortunately, I have some bad news about my progress with this book.  It will not be finished by the deadline due to quite a few unforeseen circumstances, including the flooding in Houston, TX, where I lived, and being in a head-on car crash that meant I had to stay in Dallas for several weeks and couldn't dedicate any time to my writing.

The past several months have been chaotic and draining, and in the midst of all the other work I was doing I left this book by the wayside.

I want to both thank you for believing in me and apologize for not being able to deliver on my promises as I should have.

I am, however, still fully planning on finishing this book, and will be posting my progress on my Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/andazola?ty=h) (for free, of course) and occasionally on my Tumblr (la-grenuda.tumblr.com).  I finally have a well-paying job with regular hours, rather than being at the mercy of various events and club promotions, so my schedule should allow for regular updates, hopefully daily, but at worst weekly.   If you would like the copy of the book you bought, you can send me your email and I will email you a PDF copy as soon as I've finished it.

Thank you all for your patience and your encouragement, it had helped me to have more faith in my writing.

Love,

         Maria Isabel Andazola

Hello everyone!  I want to thank you for supporting me, especially because I haven't put up any drafts of what I'm writing yet.  It means a lot to see people who believe in me.

I've been working on "La Sirenita" (The Little Mermaid), "La Bruja" (Hansel and Gretel), "De La Torre" (Rapunzel), and "Lil Red Ridin Low" (Little Red Riding Hood).  It's been taking me a while since I don't want to just re-tell the stories, I want to re-tell them with each one being in a different, experimental style.

I'm not sure what else to write here, but hopefully I'll at least have first drafts I can show you all soon.

Thank you again for your support!
