I constantly find myself wanting a fiction book of villains turned heroes, which in reality is just an anti-hero. That being said I wanted the hero to be much darker than usual characters. The anti-hero’s I’ve read are all people with a flaw or two, or maybe they are just an asshole that does the right thing. I wanted to right a story where the POV character (and everyone in the world) is compelled by greed and selfish desires, but they couldn’t just be people with flaws. Their flaws had to be their personalities, and their ’redeeming qualities’ had to be viewed as flaws instead. That’s what I hope to achieve in writing this novel and I want to be the best, so any criticism others have is welcome. Tell me how I can improve my writing, my characters, my world building; not ideas that would be interesting, but instead things such as what diction and things of that nature I could use to make something less dry and more fluid for the reader.
