Hello! My name is J.M. Zak.

I have a dream of becoming a published author and I’m hoping you can help me with that. I’m 18 and have written two novels going on three. I love every part of writing a novel. The brainstorming, setting the plot, making the characters, writing and editing.

I guess I should tell you about this book. When I was 12 I wanted a hobby. So I thought I would write a book. The funny things is, at the time I had a reading and writing disability. Now I didn’t know what I wanted to write about. All I knew was that I wanted it to be an adventure and I wanted magic. It wasn’t till I was washing my hands in a bathroom that I thought to myself, ’what would happen if tons of spiders burst from the toilet’? Gross, yes, but it was also a great place to start. I started asking myself, ’why were this spiders coming out of the toilet?’ ’What would my character do in this situation?’ I finally started seriously writing this book when I was 14, and it’s gone through many revisions, but it’s still my baby and I still love it with all my heart.
