Steel Souls: Death Mask is a labor of love. I’ve been in love with Japanese giant robot cartoons since I was a child. Having the opportunity and drive to write a novel about them where they are so sorely lacking is like a dream come true. This novel follows one of those giant robots that I so love on his journey across a war-torn solar system, trying to essentially grow up and discover who he is in worlds filled with uncertainty and loss.
I hope that I can sufficiently share my deep love of giant sentient robots with all my readers. So that they all experience at least a small part of the joy that I feel when watching, reading, or writing about them.
