The first, rewritten, chapter of Sovereign of the Sea is now available! I think it accomplishes a lot of what the original chapter set out to do but much more cleanly, and I’ll be expanding it into another chapter.
I’ve been thinking that I should work on an improved draft for Sovereign of the Sea to put up on here. My current draft is of a much lower quality than I think I’m currently capable of.
So, expect a better version of chapters 1 and 2 to be up soon! I’ll update them separately as I finish them.
Like I said in the main post, I do have the whole story finished already. This will mainly be an additional draft to bring the quality up to something I’m much happier with, and more in line with what the final result will likely be.
