When I began writing, I didn’t want to create something or characters that have been read before but unfortunately, I wound up sticking to that in a way. I’ve created a story that has more realistic POV’s on certain things and life experiences, instead of just creating a story with no relatable pasts or backgrounds. My series has vampires (they don’t sparkle, they don’t eat) lycans (Underworld inspired), demons, dragons, Jinn, hybrids, hellhounds and more. Most of all, I couldn’t be more proud to have been compared to Stephen King on an Inkitt review. He’s my favorite and most successful horror author and that’s the biggest compliment I could ever receive and on Amazon, I’ve been compared to Harry Potter, Vampire Diaries, Twilight and Vampire Academy. I too, take those as compliments because they’re all successful books, series or films! I want readers to read my story and see all the hard work I’ve put into it, by falling in love with the characters and following their journeys; however they may end, as much as I have, when creating each and every one. A lot of details are based on real life places which adds a stable imprint for the readers. The Keeper of La Tecla (The Key) series is a 4 book series with prequels in the future so I’ll be busy creating those characters and worlds as well. Happy reading everyone!
