The story of ’Sam Wash and His Trip to Dentin’ takes place here, where we are now, but in a far distant future. The people of that time, along with their civilizations and states have fallen to a zombie virus. There are many remaining groups of survivors that have gathered in small communities. The Sovereign State of Salvation (simply known as ’Salvation’) was at once one of the greatest survival communities of their time. Salvation would thrive by absorbing smaller communes into their own, either by using them as slaves or food. Sam Was, our story’s unfortunate protagonist, belongs, or at the time, was in charge of a commune that was once being attacked by Salvation. Instead of falling to Salvation, his community banned together and fought greatly against them. Eventually Sam’s co commander, and friend Oswald, attempted to sell out Sam’s community and threatened Sam by kidnapping his wife, Scarlet Wash. Sam, instead of listening to Salvations demands of surrender lead his men to the destruction of Salvation. Once Sam found Oswald’s plans he confronted him only to find his wife dead. Oswald shoots Sam, and convinces enough men that Sam was traitorous, and that the final attack on Salvation was suppose to be a failure, and that Sam’s wife had sold out their community only to be killed by Oswald. In a sick twist of fate, Oswald is able to convince enough people to have him re-instated as the new leader of their community. His motives on letting Sam live are unclear, but Sam is forced in a marriage with a rather dull woman named Louise. They’re commune behind to grow larger until they are finally noticed. Where we meet up with Sam is in the auditorium of their survival group. They are almost done with their ’educational video’ where we learn the history of there mini-civilisation. This a short, quick, and rather dull musical. The music and lyrics are stolen from Richard O’Brien’s ’Shock Treatment,’ (sequel to ’The Rocky Horror Show’).
