Dearest Readers,

Thanks so much for your support here on Inkshares. It’s meant the world to me. It’s taken me a while to figure out just what to do with Raven and Bone, but the book is getting new life as a serial on Patreon. If you’d like to follow along, I’d be so happy to have you (CLICK HERE TO HEAD OVER TO PATREON).

Otherwise, again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for loving this little project so much.

Yours in tea and ink,

Allison

Witchlings!

We have great news today. Chapter 4 has dropped and it will be one of the last preview chapters before the end of the contest. I like to leave you hanging... (Insert evil author laughter here)

AND! Rick Heinz, the author of The Seventh Age: Dawn, has profiled Raven and Bone for his Geek and Sundry piece on the top 5 underdogs in the Geek and Sundry contest. Click here to read the profile. Thanks a million to Rick for his generous support.

And thanks to you for your support! I appreciate you all so much.

In magick and mayhem,

Allison

Greetings,

Thank you all so much for supporting Raven and Bone. As you know, the Geek and Sundry contest will wrap up at the end of October, with the winners being picked on November 1st.

We’ve got a few more weeks to climb the leaderboard, so if you have friends or family you think might enjoy Raven and Bone, please forward the link along to them as well. Chapter 3 is available today and I’ll be releasing a few more bits in the coming weeks.

Thank you all, a million times for your kind words and all the love.

Best,

Allison

I created all of the images associated with Raven and Bone (from the cover design to the associated Facebook page) using material from The British Library’s Flickr account. In 2013 the library dumped over 1 million images into the public domain and they are fascinating. While this started as a larger art project for me, so many of the images worked perfectly for the art for this book, especially given Ava’s long life as a student and Vivienne’s vast academic career. Check out the original image for this little moth graphic here
