Rule three: I'm too old for this stuff! Every chapter starts off with how many days left till his retirement.

Rule two: The heroes name is Jacob. His secret identity is never fully revealed. He's only known by Jacob and no one knows if that really is his first name, but his last name is never revealed.

Inspired by the 9 rules every Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner cartoon had to follow. I decided to give the hero of Quitter rules to govern his story.

Rule one: all things are real!  From time traveling aliens, to radioactive dinosaurs at the bottom of the Pacific it's all in this universe.  Have you ever wanted to see a space monk with a laser sword duel merlin with Excalibur? I do.

Well simply put yes, Quitters was originally envisioned as a comic book or graphic novel about an aging super hero with a twist.
