Patient #29 is my first attempt at writting horror.

I have always been facinated by madness and insanity and to some extend the criminal insane.

But i never had the idea to write about that, this was untill i spoke with people about how children songs can sometimes be made really sinister and being someone who loves to have scary come from the least likely i started to look for a children song about something quite innocent and that is basicly loved by most.

Que the ladybugs, People love these little bugs and even have some children songs about them that comming from the mouth of an insane person can sound eerie.

Meet Mark...

Mark is a 31 year old Grocery store worker that always loved to write. In high school he made up fake books and stories for his book reports but never ventured past writing short stories for contests That were always well recieved but never seemed to wow the judges , mostly due to an abundance of spelling mistakes, as he would not find an editor for his work at that time.

After walking around with a thriller story in his mind for some time a friend pointed him towards the Nanowrimo program. From that program came the series Sacrilegious, a Noir/thriller series about a female prive detective in a city filled with Fantasy creatures.

The second book in this series got really well resieved by those that read it due to its fresh take on a genre and the engaging characters.

THE ORIGIN OF PATIENT 29

A couple of years back he started writing a story about a town gown slowly insane after a heinous murder in a grocerystore, told from the perspective of five diffrent naarators. This story felt like it had became to much like the premise and overal story of The crazies, so he put it on hold while he thought about ways of making the story more unique and more engaging, as the story was still something he wanted to tell. After taking a step back from the thirs entry in his Sacrilegious series, Mark decided to give into that nagging feeling that a story was not finished and should be told before he could good and well contineu with his main series. From the Original idea of murder in the grocery store and the idea of insanity, something that always interested him he decided to start from scratch and to put the narration focus on one Character and not five as One unreliable narrator is much more engaging then five. That way hoping to make the reader become part of the people that will question the narrators sanity.

And from that idea came the new version of Patient 29 that he is now presenting you on this site.
