Pathway to Peril came to me when riffing ideas with a good friend. My story ideas hit me as visual concepts; certain aesthetics catch my eye and spiral into grandiose stories. I visualized a group of adventurers embodying traditional pulp action heroes confronted by more modern technological marvels. 

With a background deeply rooted in tabletop gaming, I thought the dynamics presented by a group of gamers could make this story become more than just a typical adventure. I always liked the dual narratives made possible by the separation of player and character. To that end, Pathway to Peril will be able to explore concepts of identity and everyday heroism.
