I have been writing since I was 13, but this was the first project where I really felt the characters. I met Alexis first, day dreaming in my 10th grade English class. He came to me after I read "The Gunslinger" by Stephen King which I fell in love with right away and he may at first resembled the trailblazing Roland, but he quickly became something very different. Something I never thought would cross my path, nor was he something I ever thought I would write about. He convinced me.

After I met Iris, poor sweet little farm girl who refuses to be called a child when she barely knows what it means to be an adult. She lost everything but she is determined to get it back, even if it means traveling with the one person on the face of whats left of the Earth she should want to stay away from. She has nothing left to lose, so she figures, why not? What’s the worst that can happen?

Poor things... they know not what they do.
